Simply Excited for something in two weeks

I got a dress over the weekend. I'll post pics soon. It's got a halter kind of straps, its black and it also has silver sparkles. I'm going for a vintage 50's retro vibe. I really do like this idea. Now just have to think of ideas for my hair.... natural curly hair is hard to tame for a special night out. I hope "C" will find me really pretty :) I already bought my ticket and it wasn't cheap, $40! Such a shame I have to wait so long... Winter Formal isn't until the 27th.

Thank you for being a great reader of my blog :D it's nice to see every now and again people taking interest. I will post about it asap! yet sadly winter formal isn't until the 27th, so you and I have a long wait. I am sorry you don't have school dances there. Maybe you could talk to your ASB (if you have them.. they are students that run the activities for the school. Its a "class"/"club" kind of thing) and if you are lacking that as well, maybe talk to the principal as to why that is. You can be the one to make the difference. As the way of dancing... I can do the lawn mower, the sprinkler, shopping cart... stuff like that, which is NOT very impressive haha. Yet thank you for your support. And YES here IS to independent and strong women all around the world :D

    Ooooh I can’t wait to see photos of this dress! :)

    Are you going to the hair dressers to get your hair done or are you doing it yourself? I have hair similar to yours (judging by your photo) and I like putting some waves in it using my hair straightener then pinning the sides back :) Maybe add some cute hair accessories too! :)

    I laughed when you said you can do the lawn mower and the sprinkler. You should totally start doing the sprinkler while everyone is slow dancing hehe. Do people actually slow dance at winter formals?

    I’m okay with my school not having formals often. Once we graduate high school we get a formal so I shall wait for that. Lucky for you your formal is on the 27th of this month; that is only a few days away, my one and only formal is in a couple of years!
